Disneyland 2013

                    California /Disneyland

Last week we flue down to California for Andres business trip where it so happened to be in Disneyland resort! This was Andres and Calvin's first trip ever to Disneyland! So we wanted to take advantage of these golden opportunity where we didn't have to pay for the hotel food or Andres ticket and since Calvin is under 2 he flue free so all we really paid for was my ticket and the discounted Disneyland tickets(ones again Calvin Calvin's addition was free since he is under 2. Oh and did I mention this was also Calvin's first plane ride!

We were a little nervousness about the plane ride. I talked to couple parents that fly all the time they recommended us to bring Tylenol to give 15 min before the take off. And also to have them drink of eat something while the take off so their little ears don't get kluged, and also lots of toys to entertain them with. Since it was only 2h flit we only brought 2 of his favorite books (Calvin prefers books over toys) we didn't have to give him anything other than the books. On our way back we did by a snack/fruit tray to keep him a little busy.

Ready to go!

"wow car!!!"

He finally went to sleep after 1!! So did I.
So we heard about the backboard display turning on. There is a picture of the Disney castle and it looks like there's a whole wall of stars and fireworks, anyways Andre and I couldn't figure out how to turn it on and the next day Calvin walks up clicks a button and turns it on! Felt like our child was smarter than us for a sec.....
Goof's kitten I loved! It's all u can eat buffet. 35$ For the two of us they had all kinds if food all Calvin are was strawberries and grapes. The food was ok but I love the fact that we can eat and the characters come to you to talk give u the kids a hug take a picture and get an autograph so we didn't have to stand inline at Disneyland park to take a picture with them. And all the characters are so nice!

^bahahaha. i couldn’t help but share this photo of calvin after his first time meeting Pluto haha! it took a little getting used to, but he did enjoy looking at the from a distance after a while. promise. ;)

The first day we didn't do much we went even tho we got to our hotel at 9am and Andre had a meeting shortly after that.we went hang out at the pool for a while, than went to explore the Disneyland down town
Out side of Lego store they had few of these round table for kids to play with their Legos. We stops by here few times I sat on the branch reading while Calvin played
This was a great lunch place food was good not my fave
Thinking about Naples pizza makes my mouth water! This was definitely one of the best pizzas I've had by far! We also sat outside listening to live music, and watching ppl go about their day.
This bird barked at us as we walked by! <not weird at all>

Funnn at the pool!!! Calvin is a huge fan of water!(and jumba juice)

 Traveling with the little one!

We did learn a few thing flying with a toddler tho hopefully these tips can help someone else who is planning to travel abroad with a tiny ones

1a) book the plane tickets after naps or when kids are best behaved! Not at 4am Calvin was all up and ready to go. And once we got there he was tired but curious so he ended up staying up from 4am to 2pm.
1b) travel at off season for better prices and to avoid crowds of tourist
1c) all liquids and snacks are ok to pass the security with a child.
1d) pack light (we traveled with just two carry-on sized backpacks)
1e) Pack a stroller (we brought our little umbrella stroller cuz its light and we wont care for it if it got miss placed or stroller at Disneyland - and have your child nap on the go
1f) we brought calvins favorite books sacks for entertainment  and of course our phone if everything else fails

2)  Disneyland
2a) stay in the center of it all. splurge for the hotel if u can it will save u traveling time(we walked alot to Disneyland town only drove to grocery store for milk
2b) bring lots of snacks so u don't have to wait around in line
2c) we made lots of stops by Target for snacks  and some Disney shirts, toys for half price than what u will pay at the hotel
3)microwave is a must in a hotel with a little one. Disneyland was great about all of our requests.
